this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Check out this mock draft. I wouldn't mind this. It presumes we get the 20th pick from Dallas. http://www.draftking.com/nfl/2005/mockdraft.shtml...

Nice mock draft (check out the *)
Welcome aboard...
Alex Smith will be the first player taken in the draft. After his private workout with over a hundred coaches and scouts, everyone was saying that it was the best workout they\'ve seen since Troy Aikman. That\'s saying alot. They showed come clips of it on ESPNews and he looked great. So for all those mock draft with Smith going to the Saints at 16, it\'s as good as me hitting the powerball. Not a bad mock either... I\'m a big Travis Johnson fan. I do think Rolle will go higher than 15 though. [Edited on 17/3/2005 by papz] |

thanks. I don\'t know if Rodgers will fall to 20, but if everything happens like the mock presumes the Saints end up with a DT and a QB (Rodgers) not bad.

It is gonna be a DT from Georgia , reach or not . Just glad Hasbeen does not have 2 picks in the first round to give up for him . |

If Jamaal Brown is there, I don\'t see how we could possibly pass him up.

I think I am going to make it my personal mission to be against all MOCK DRAFTS.
Its like why waste all that time... when you can be doing something else. Just look at major news sites and you have some idea where the players are going to fall a few days before the draft and tune in to see your team make the picks... and there you have it what happened. hey but I love fantasy football. I don\'t think Rodgers wont fall past three to the Browns. c\'mon Trent Dilfer. Yes he won a SB, But with one of the best D\'s of all time. Top three 1. Rodgers 2. R Brown 3. A Smith

Not a bad mock overall, but I think the guy just forgot about Rodgers and when he realized it he put him in at #20 instead of redoing his whole mock. lol
Is there any other reason why Rodgers should fall that far? |
