You can evaluate players from a box score. Some of the most impressive runs I saw him make were against Bama and he just back to the line of scrimmage. That defense was keyed up for the entire season, waiting for the LSU game. You can't fault him for that,
not when his O-Line gets blown off the ball every snap for four quarters.
Fournette is a generational talent. I only recall one dropped pass his
3 years at LSU. He spent the summer working on pass blocking. I recall several plays where he saw a defender some free and he improvised to pick him up. Nothing as big as he is should move as fast as he does. They expect him to run a
4.3/40. If he does, he's gone by the 5th pick. To say LF is "average" against good teams is kind of funny to me.
Woe to the teams that skip him with their pick. If Fournette and a very good edge rusher are available,
I take the edge rusher. If the best edge rusher isn't
top notch, I take Fournette.
