Oh well. Thats that then! He would have been good for the Saints but as you say, Washington have got to him first!

What the **** is Loomis and Payton doing?

How do they let the Redskins outmaneuver them again?

We really need a strong GM to tell Payton go sit in his office and let the adults close the deals...

Yeah, but at least we were 7-9, I mean some people round here think if we didn't have SP we'd be 4-12 and those extra 3 wins per year are the cat's pajamas.

Dude are you really asking this...from the people who paid out 40 million in dead money this past season? From the people that signed RR? What are they doing? Business as usual.

Could have been alot of reasons. He might have not liked Payton, he might have not liked Allen?

We can't force coaches to sign with us. Snyder can afford to outbid just about every other team.

It has nothing to do with being "out-maneuvered"

Where do you guys come up with this carp? I feel I've actually insulted the term crap

At this level, you get what you pay for sometimes.

Or maybe not, Payton is the highest paid coach in the NFL

There are still a lot of good DL coaches out there. Karl Dunbar(I believe that's what his name was) as someone said earlier, Pepper Johnson and I wouldn't be against Mike Nolan. Or we could go and get that guy from Ohio state. Don't whine about. It's done.

So sick of losing out on good coaches because Payton and Loomis can't get their act together.

D line could have been set for years to come with Tomsula.

Well we have an unproven Allen at DC, no D-line coach, no lb.'er coach, no special teams coach, just lost out on an excellent D-line coach, we're starting 2017 with a bang. I guess Payton and Loomie are waiting on one that has the puppet strings already attached. The one thing I have noticed over the years is that Payton has never had a legit guy on his staff that could step right in to his job if he got fired and do well as a head coach. I already know how Allen faired so he's not the answer.

I'll mention this, a few websites that track reports on coaching personnel openings, moves starting reporting Tomsula interviewing with Saints as early as Friday according to their title history...

Coaching Search Ticker | CoachingSearch.com

Nothing was mentioned about an additional interview for Tomsula with the Redskins at all...

I think almost anyone we hire will be a upgrade from last year. I think our D was on the right path. I really think health has been our biggest problem.
