F'ing crazy talk from people trolling for attention or amateurs who don't know what the **** they're talking about.

Has this site really become that dumb?

Our offseason decisions says otherwise. When you see division rivals trying to seriously contend and you just sit there and come up with "alternatives" to fix the team instead of letting go what many have said was the problem here(Vitt, McMahon) and continually act like the oline can survive. SP has made unpopular decisions from his best friends to Greenbriar and so on. The offense has been less than desirable and the defense tells the story for itself. The 2014 offseason is why we have seen division rivals make back to back SBs.

What part of that don't you understand? He didn't even know who called. He said his part of the conversation was one word - "no". I don't doubt somebody called. Obviously someone that Ward thought was not worth listening to. Who called? If it was anyone that was even somewhat legitimate they would have gotten more than a "no" and a dial tone. He never said that an associate of Sean Payton called. He said that someone who claimed he was an associate called. Hell, you could call and claim you were an associate and get hung up on after a one world answer, too.

Now do you get it? You choose to believe La Canfora, a master of bullcrap, over the chief operating officer of the Colts? Only if you have an agenda with no regard for facts.

I can tell that the density of your skull is by far thicker than most, let me just go ahead and keep posting that:

You honestly don't get it?

Ward, the Colts' COO, the person that took the call, said someone who "said" he was an associate of Payton called and was told no. That person could have been any Joe off the street, but was most likely someone like La Canfora himself. If the caller was truly a known associate of Payton's, like Loomis or his agent, then Ward would known that individual and would not have worded it like he did.

But the main point is that La Canfora's story is 98% bullcrap and he was called out by everyone from Payton, to Loomis, to the Colts' COO. Yet you seem to believe the whole thing.

No. THAT is NOT true. An associate of Payton's did not call them. A person who SAID he was an associate of Payton's called them. BIG difference. If your going to try to hang your hat on some insignificant particle, at least get it right.

If you cannot recognize the difference, then you are exactly the type of target that hacks like La Canfora and Rapoport hope to take advantage of with their brand of throw it against the wall and see if it sticks approach. Accuracy and logic will never stand in the way of web clicks. Part of the lemming mass and beyond hope.

Uh Oh be careful, there are people stating things on here they couldn't possibly know for certain as if they're known for certain.

Three posts from now they will scold other members about how they shouldn't do that...

You've got a point there. I've been through some of the bad times so a few 7-9 seasons in a row don't send me over the edge.

It's easy to accept mediocrity when it used to be so much worse. But it is nonetheless unacceptable. I don't think anyone needs to be in panic mode either.

I do feel like we're gonna kick ass this season tho and make it to the playoffs.

Exactly. When the team is mired in four or five win seasons you see no hope. Seven win seasons are a play or two a week away from being ten win seasons with the trip to post season. While I am disappointed by 7-9 seasons, I am not terribly worried because with a few minor tweaks they can easily win 12 or 13 next year.

I don't think it is panic mode, but I think it is being realistic. We have been 7-9 four of the last 5 seasons. That's plain terrible, and despite how we fought and were close in multiple games this season this team was nowhere close to a 10 win team. Really far off.

Yeah, I am hoping we break through next year and I do think it is possible, but I also think it is possible we are 7-9 again

Every team in the league can possibly finish 7-9 next season. Every last one. So many factors involved.

Yeah, look at the Patriots. Played the first 4 without Tom, lost Gronk, in SB. We're just a team with a whole lot of excuses

The Patriots are the exception rather than the rules. If what they are doing is so easy then every team should be able to replicate their success. But exactly how many of the other 31 teams have done that? None. Payton isn't Belichick, but then again, nobody out there is. Of course, it does help to be in a division with the likes of the Dolphins, Jets and Bills who have spent the vast majority of the Patriots reign as total train wrecks.

The Patriots success is tied to its unparalleled success with free agency giving them the depth to overcome the same things that cripple other franchises. Hopefully things are looking up for the Saints in the depth market. Hopefully the past mistakes are just that, mistakes in the past. I for one am extremely positive about the direction things are moving with the Saints and see no value of dwelling on correctable mistakes from the past. To learn and move forward is positive.

Yep. They also got rid of Chandler & Jamie Collins on defense with little hiccups & add in excellent position coaches. NE is a well run organization from top to bottom. Truly remarkable what they continue to do year end and year out.

I view them as a NFL Dynasty.
