Our offseason decisions says otherwise. When you see division rivals trying to seriously contend and you just sit there and come up with "alternatives" to fix the team instead of letting go what many have said was the problem here(Vitt, McMahon) and continually act like the oline can survive. SP has made unpopular decisions from his best friends to Greenbriar and so on. The offense has been less than desirable and the defense tells the story for itself. The 2014 offseason is why we have seen division rivals make back to back SBs. |

Ward, the Colts' COO, the person that took the call, said someone who "said" he was an associate of Payton called and was told no. That person could have been any Joe off the street, but was most likely someone like La Canfora himself. If the caller was truly a known associate of Payton's, like Loomis or his agent, then Ward would known that individual and would not have worded it like he did. But the main point is that La Canfora's story is 98% bullcrap and he was called out by everyone from Payton, to Loomis, to the Colts' COO. Yet you seem to believe the whole thing. |

If you cannot recognize the difference, then you are exactly the type of target that hacks like La Canfora and Rapoport hope to take advantage of with their brand of throw it against the wall and see if it sticks approach. Accuracy and logic will never stand in the way of web clicks. Part of the lemming mass and beyond hope. |

Uh Oh be careful, there are people stating things on here they couldn't possibly know for certain as if they're known for certain.
Three posts from now they will scold other members about how they shouldn't do that... |

It's easy to accept mediocrity when it used to be so much worse. But it is nonetheless unacceptable. I don't think anyone needs to be in panic mode either. I do feel like we're gonna kick ass this season tho and make it to the playoffs. |

Yeah, I am hoping we break through next year and I do think it is possible, but I also think it is possible we are 7-9 again |

Victim mentality is what I mean. Those who won't blame anything on the FO on what happens to the team and just calls it luck and a situation unavoidable. Maybe they should explain why 2014 happened the way it did in free agency. |

The Patriots success is tied to its unparalleled success with free agency giving them the depth to overcome the same things that cripple other franchises. Hopefully things are looking up for the Saints in the depth market. Hopefully the past mistakes are just that, mistakes in the past. I for one am extremely positive about the direction things are moving with the Saints and see no value of dwelling on correctable mistakes from the past. To learn and move forward is positive. |
