Always liked the song for killing the ol goose egg

But unlike the Panthers I can not find a reason outside of many years of rivalry hate to not wish the falcons the best. I have zero respect for the Panthers. I love the fans as I do the Falcons Fans but Cam killed my Sam Mills Dome patrol connection and any respect I had for that team. Even Doggie Style Vic did not accomplish so much dislike.

Gotta listen to falcons fans give us the same crap we gave to them when we won will be hard to handle. But in the end I know I will end up buying the drinks. Panthers i ran up the tab and walk out the back door LMAO all the way to the bank because I bet it all against them. I would at the least split the bet to cover no matter what out of respect for Atlanta.

so good luck to the falcons

But nothing would please me more than see Roger hand the trophy to Brady. This has been a season long wish among Pats fans since cell phone gate. "In your face Roger"

Sticking it to Roger one more time is a hard reason to top.

Go Pats

Re: How I feel about Atlanta going to the Superbowl...

The Falcons are our bitter rivals, I really disliked Roddy White, hate when we lose to them and am as high as a kite when we beat them. They have fair-weather fans BUT...I want someone different to win the Superbowl this time round. It pains me to say it but The Falcons have been amazing. Forget the fact that they are rivals, I have never disliked players, except the aforementioned and I think Matt Ryan deserves the MVP. All the analysts have been talking about is how great Aaron Rogers is, or Tom Brady because they are the darlings of the NFL but if you love football, and I do, you surely would concede the fact that the Falcons have been devastating this year. They've done what they've had to do and done it with style. Let's face it...we and twenty-nine other teams have wanted to do what they did and just couldn't. Did I want them to do well? Of course not. Did I want us to grind them beneath our heel? Absolutely. Do I grudgingly want them to beat the Patriots? Sorry guys, but yes I do. Ready for the haters now

Been following the Pats all season. So many ways they can beat you. Do not see this going well for the Falcons at all. Pats have the advantage in every area except maybe kicker barely.

Seems like we're kinda in the rear view mirror of our division rivals. Sure Carolina sucked this year but they were just in the Super Bowl with the league MVP at QB and Tampa Bay is trending upward being right on the edge of a playoff berth. Here we sit, perennially at 7-9 with Drew Brees starting to voice frustration. We really need to get our s*** together this offseason.

The Pats have the experience in their favor. But the funny thing is every single Super Bowl involving the Hoody-era Pats have all been really close games. If this continues to be the case then one big play in the 4th quarter could win the Falcons the game.

If Brady loses to Ryan, it says something about him worse than Manning. He would have lost more sbs than Manning. And Montana is 4-0 in SBs. The only way Brady passes Montana for good is to win a 5th. some can argue that Brady's been in more SBs but Montana was in four SBs and won four SBs in a 9 year span. Brady was in four SBs in a 7 year span but won three and lost one. In a 9 year span still four. In a 11 year span 5 and still three wins.

And I think this may be the last shot Brady has at dominating the AFC. He does not win this SB, he solidifies his second all-time position.

I can't stand Montana and the 49ers so this would be a silver lining of the Patriots winning.

I never thought I would be pulling for the Patriots. But, my line of thought is, 'whats one more'?

So the pats get one more superbowl, what does it change? We already hear about how amazing they are year after year. I would much rather keep the status quo, than have to hear about the falcons winning their first SB.

Re: How I feel about Atlanta going to the Superbowl...

The one advantage I have this season is that I won't have to waste any time watching the flood of pregame coverage for the two weeks before the game. The next time I turn on the NFL will be late afternoon on the 5th.
