Sometimes it's the slightest, most unremarkable change that makes a difference - it defies logic, makes no sense, even irrational...
But if staying in the area, getting acclimated earlier to the heat makes a difference and stops these early season slow starts, then don't mess what has worked in past successful seasons... |

No more room service and continental breakfasts. Hello vending machines. Gone are the beautiful rooms with mints on the pillow. Hello dorm rooms. Make them hungry again for all they lost. Its all a mental mind game. It works too. |

During late July/ early August, the average low temp is 59 and the high is 74 & the hated Cows practiced in Oxnard ,CA for years (until they built the posh new facilities here in Frisco). I can't think of anyone that's questioned these teams toughness the last 5 years. It's talent and coaching, not location. |
