Why? We have one of the best centers in the league.

Re: Nick Mangold ... Should we?
Curious question on two fronts. First is that he's the same age as Evans. Both were drafted in 2006.
Second is that he played center his entire career. Why would this not be a square peg - round hole situation? Guys like Zeitler are a much better target for guard in free agency. Already playing at a high level. In the prime of his career. Anything else really doesn't make much sense. Can anyone explain why they think Mangold could fit anywhere as a Saint? SFIAH |

Re: Nick Mangold ... Should we?
I'll take him as a backup center if he'll sign cheap. Which he won't, but you know... That would be ideal. Everyone needs a backup, and why not have someone with Mangold's credentials, instead of some undrafted free agent type.
But since there isn't much chance you get him on the cheap, even at this stage of his career, I don't see where he fits this team. |

Re: Nick Mangold ... Should we?
I'm sure he will have several suitors, not sure why or where he'd fit here, While other o line areas require some consideration, center is not one of them.

Mangold is now Manold. Maybe a few years ago but not now.
