Backup RB ???
I just read a post on another thread that made me think of something we need. The post by LKelley suggested us maybe getting Najeh Davenport from Green Bay. Yes of course I would like to have Davenport, but it's not just the possibility of having that particular player that has me intrigued.
What is appealing about Davenport is that he's a big bruiser type back. That's what I think we need, a big beast of a back to compliment Deuce. A guy who could just bulldoze the defense while they're trying to catch their breath from having chased Deuce around all day. Somebody to punish tacklers and break the spirit of the D. Don't get me wrong, I like Stecker and I think he's a solid backup, but he's not the best compliment to Deuce. We need an animal in the backfield. We need a guy like Alstott or Davenport to form a Black and Gold version of Thunder and Lighting. I know at one point we were looking at the A-Train and he could be what we need. I say could be because he would have to change his body and game alot in order to become the back I'm thinking about. All he would have to do is get on some heavy duty juice, gain about 30 lbs of solid muscle and start running like a brute instead of a scat back. I can see it now Deuce and the A-Train vs the defenses of the NFC South. :D We need another Ironhead. Bring back Ironhead !!! |

Backup RB ???
I agree on hodge if they payed him anymore it would be pretty sad. A-train or Dayne would be a good pick up. I think they both will won\'t to prove they are still good.
