Moves like this make me wonder if the Saints FO is clearing cap space to make a "splash" on spending more than necessary in FA. agree, but no one (including Loomis) has any idea what the market price will be for Fairley, Zeitler, Peterson, or hell, even Romo. Clearing another 3 million seems like a pittance for losing a player like Byrd.
