It wasn't the 32nd pick that Payton had a problem with, it's the fact the patriots wanted our 2nd or 3rd round pick as well as Brandin Cooks.

Cheeky b*******
So they wanted a 2/3 rounder and Cooks for us to move up what 12 spaces to 32

Found this on the report, it thought I'd heard 2nd or 3rd but this just says "later round pick"

According to the report, the Patriots' proposal also included New Orleans sending a later-round pick back to New England.

Still, I wouldn't give up a later round pick to get their 32nd pick, we need as many players as we can.

I dont like just getting 32 for Cooks. Its a fair starting process from both sides

Hey Lee, I think we don't have to worry about that. Sean Payton has made it clear that Cooks won't come cheap in a trade scenario. A 1st round pick simply won't cut it.

We hold the cards here.

If we can go from 27th to say 18th in that department we are going to make the playoffs.

Fournette will be there when the Panthers pick. His poor performances at the combine insured that.
