Anyway this article says 18 for cooks straight up or cooks and our 11th for their 5th. I don't really think the second scenario makes any sense. We lose cooks and only move 6 spots for it...

Titans are reportedly the front-runners to trade for the Saints' Brandin Cooks - CBSSports.com
We, as in the fans, are probably adding more value to Cooks then the teams interested in him are. Cooks alone is worth a 1st rounder, but not a top 10 pick. Anywhere from around 15 and up is equal value for Cooks.

Cooks + Pick 11

for

Titans Pick 5 and 18

^ That would be highway robbery on the Saints part in my opinion. I pray that's the deal we get. If not, I'm cool with us sending Cooks to one of those AFC teams in the 10-20 range straight up. Either way, he has to go. He's a cancer with a contract coming up.

.
Cooks is a top 10 receiver. If the tables were turned I'd give up our number 11 pick for him in a heartbeat.

I don't believe he's top 10. Possibly top 15.

Julio Jones
Odell Beckham, Jr.
Antonio Brown
DeAndre Hopkins
Dez Bryant
A.J. Green
Jordy Nelson
Demaryius Thomas
Mike Evans
T.Y. Hilton

That's 10 off the top of my head. From there we could debate if he's better than Jarvis Landry, Amari Cooper, or Emmanuel Sanders. I don't think he's better than Michael Thomas though. Not to mention, he's an extremely small receiver...but he's no Steve Smith.

im not sure this is true, steve smith was small.

he was 7th in yards last season and that is his third year in the league. plus, he did that while another receiver on his team was at 9. he's a top 10 talent, no doubt.

and that's a respectful disagreement

I would put him above Evans, Bryant and Hilton on that list. Nelson stays injuried. And I would like to add cooks is not a #1 wr. Everyone on that list is a true #1. Cooks is a slot and the best in the league at it.

Ummm yeah, and look at how a great team (Patriots) can destroy a defense with a good slot receiver. He can also keep his QB healthier. I wouldn't be too surprised if we don't hear from Belichick again before it's all said and done.

cooks +11 for their 5 is ridiculous. I wouldn't do that. cooks for 18 isn't terrible.

cooks+ 11 for 5 and 18, would mean we received 18 and pick 45 for cooks.(not literally, just points from the draft pick value) It isn't that crazy

I think it's pretty crazy if we were able to get a top 20 pick in the first round and a top 20 pick in the 2nd round for Brandin Cooks. Madden wouldn't accept that trade. Lol.

lol, well I am not saying it is going to happen just that it isn't that crazy and who knopws we could throw a pick back, but 18 for cooks wouldn't be bad. I just wouldn't give cooks and our 11 to move 6 spots. 18 and cooks probably good deal
