Pass Rush and Free Safety were our issues last season...

Agreed 100%. I liked the Malcolm Butler idea because he is a great player, but I also think the Delvin Breaux-PJ Williams-Sterling Moore trio has the potential to be excellent. Now that Moore will be back I'm waffling a little bit on trading for Butler.

I agree with this, as well. The defense as a whole is a unit. The efficiency of one area directly affects the others. More pressure and help over the top would make what we already had at CB look a great deal better. But, I'm still not opposed to improvement where ever it can take place, as long as it is not an overall subtraction.

I agree with you, I just don't know what we do the other 15.5 games after PJ goes down.

I am kidding bro, but in all seriousness PJ has played 1.5 games in two years. It is concerning. Talent seems to be there, but health is a major concern.

Injuries are an unknown. He could very possibly go another ten years without missing a snap. The thing is that the two injuries were as unrelated as you can get. The first was a torn hamstring and the second a concussion. You can't call that any sort of trend. The were completely isolated incidents. Now if both were concussions or both were hammys, then I would be concerned.

I feel really good about the Breaux-Williams tandem, but you're right. PJ Williams is largely a myth at this point. He's the Loch Ness Cornerback.

In today's game the nickel is becoming the norm rather than the exception. You really need to have three quality CB's if you really want to shut a team down, or at least hamper them.
