MY feelings so far
A lot of turmoil about the Saints trading B. Cooks. Moving a malcontent WR for a 32nd pick and moving up 15 spots in the fourth rd. is a significant positive in my opinion. The Saints were handicapped by Cooks public display of his discontent.
This is a deep defensive draft and we have an opportunity to improve our talent level with these picks. Signing L. Warford was a excellent move . A young ascending player at position of considerable need. Immediate upgrade . Resigning Fairley at reasonable rate . I see no reason that he will not be able to build on his very good past season give us a quality rotation at the position. Fairley strikes me as a guy who has matured and is happy being in New Orleans near family and being a part of a quality lockeroom. A J Klein is starting quality player at a position desperate need that I feel will be a considerable asset in our weakest position group. Ted Ginn is a deep threat and superior KR to any player currently on our roster. I have a sneaky suspicion that we may end up trading for CB M. Butler with the Patriots. Go ahead and flame away These are my feelings nothing more, nothing less. |
