this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Why? Dude had his chance with one of the best offensive and qb coach in the league and couldn't cut it....

He actually did cut it. That's why he was the highest paid backup in the league. He has a legitimate shot at a starting gig. He wouldn't come back here to be a backup again.
