Washington is rumored to have serious issues with Patrick Ramsey , rumor has it they would entertain offers for his rights .
If Brooks holds out before the start of the season as rumored , he would make a great number 2 and a potential mover for the number 1 position . It would beat the Saints sitting on their hands and doing this :casstet: . |

I just dont think Brooks will hold out. If he doesnt preform well this year he wont het the big contract that he is looking for. I think he just want Benson to know he is serious about his contract situation. I dont think Brooks deserves what he is looking for, but I also think he needs to be paid more than the minimum he is making now. I think Aaron will be fine this year and will be rewarded with a new contract if he plays like he deserves it. As for Ramsey I have heard the Skins want a first round choice for him. He was the last pick in the first round and they will not get a first rounder in return. I dont think he is worth a first rounder.

He was the 32nd pick in the draft and for that I would offer a 2nd if I felt he could make the roster . Washington has Cap issues and is looking for relief , that and he is really not a Spurrier kind of Qb .
I agree not to many teams are going to give up the first on an unproven rookie , this late into the camps . Her is a brain teaser , if you trade a second round pick for a first round unsigned selection , where does he fit under the rookie cap ?? This should be interesting to watch play out none the less . |

I dont think the rookie cap would be affected. From what I heard Washington would have to sign him and then trade him so it wouldnt affect the rookie cap of the team that he is being traded to.

That could still get interesting in Washington , heard the Bears were the ones after him but only wanted to give a 3rd and 4th , so the deal went south late last night .

I dont think washington is sold on the QB position. I cant see them trading their first round QB without even seeing what he can do
