It must be the offseason.

There must be nothing else to talk about when there's an article about a guy not invited to the combine that only has a hope of competing for 3rd string/3rd down RB slot.

I know folks are sick of hearing it, but honestly there's nothing worth talking about other than guys who can start and have the ability to rush the passer, defend passes, or blow up opposing RBs in the hole.

There's no reason the Saints would not want Hightower back. The only reason the guy hasn't been signed again is because it's likely that his free agent market value hasn't been set yet.

I guess I'll be happier once the draft is over and we get to OTAs.
