Dont want McKinley at 11
I dont think he is bog enough or has the power to set the edge. Looks more a 3-4LB than 4-3 DE

We would never do that. Hell we could get a great CB at #11 and skip the high priced contract!

The way our defensive scheme flip flops, probably won't even matter ;).

I'm hoping Dennis Allen sticks around awhile; at least then we know we'll stay a 4-3

According to one source nobody involved thought the #11 pick was ever in play. That includes Belichick.

I'm sure the #11 had to come up in conversation at some point... To me though; Butler isn't even worth the #32...

My most recent wish list at #11 :

Reuben Foster (assuming Cincy passes on him) - LB extraordinaire
Takkarist McKinley - DE
Solomon Thomas - DE (I don't think he gets past San Fran)

Pick 11: Reuben Foster
Pick 32: Tre'davious White

^That would make my day.

I'm not so sure it's Loomis standing ground as much as the fresh blood in the building. In the past we gave up too much......maybe because we have a good relationship with their team through joint practices.

This "one source" person is going to have to provide proof of this claim. If the Saints say they won't trade #11, but haven't mentioned #32, then it stands to reason that if they can't come together on a deal for a player the Saints clearly covet (for whatever reasons), then the Patriots are likely trying to get that #11 pick. If they can't get that, then you can bet they will be asking for the Saints to pony up on extra picks, either in this draft or next year's. Neither of those things would be wise for a short cornerback who has succedeed only for a short period of time on a team that is notorious for making average players look like stars, in my humble opinion. It's why the Pats are always so willing to trade guys away. They know they don't need them.

How any NFL team can still fall for this same trick by the Patriots, is beyond me. Learn a lesson, and stay away from the Patriots.
