Re: Corner Back Position To See Reinforcements Per Payton
This is what we have so far...
LCB (2) 40 - Delvin Breaux, 20 - Ken Crawley, 43 - Jimmy Pruitt, 39 - Taveze Calhoun RCB (3) 25 - P.J. Williams, 24 - Sterling Moore, 21 - De’Vante Harris, 27 - Damian Swann, 00 - Anthony Gaitor Memo from Payton to these guys - Yes we have an awful pass rush, but we still want you to stop the pass - no matter what... Dare we say - Payton thinks you guys suck? |

Re: Corner Back Position To See Reinforcements Per Payton
Swann's gone...
Harris looked solid for a rookie... Crawley was really impressive for a rookie... If Payton wanted Marcus Peters type play, he should have drafted Marcus Peters... Then again, Peters has a great pass rush in front of him... |

the rest? roster bubble 20 - Ken Crawley, 43 - Jimmy Pruitt, 39 - Taveze Calhoun 21 - De’Vante Harris, 00 - Anthony Gaitor You can never have enough CB is a proven fact. But to have enough CB you must have CBs that can multi positions. So look at the safety position as an area to make this work also. Or safeties like Bell that can CB. so that bubble list takes on a whole new list of names. Quincy Wilson CB/FS Florida 6012 211 4.54 #6 Jr Who has limitations in coverage I know bama exposed him. But I still have him as my #1 CB to make the move FS. This allowes you to use him in nickle packages against bigger slower WR and TE keeping him away from the smaller quicker WR. The more I think about him the more I like what he bring to the table as a FS in man match ups. |

Re: Corner Back Position To See Reinforcements Per Payton
I'd say Breaux, Williams, Moore and Crawley are locks. A 1st round CB could supplant all of them atop the depth chart.
It's hard to see Swann making it at this point. De'Vante Harris looked pretty bad and was absolutely inept on special teams. |

I know we're all tired of the Malcolm Butler stuff, but he's back in New Orleans tonight for whatever reason.
