Re: Mixon?
I'm not justifying what he did by any means! He was WRONG!!!!! However, We all have done things that are regrettable, some maybe worse than him that would be more punishable in a criminal sense. Maybe you weren't caught like he was. We just need to be careful and know that everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance. I'm not campaigning for the Saints to select him, but there are people whom there are questions about that involved the Loss of life that were given a second chance to play in the NFL. I think the young man deserves A second chance.

If you've read the post, and look at the circumstances, he did not come clean nor he and his OU support team try to spin things down until the video of the assault, the video of the police interview were made public. Look at the video of the interview before the Bowl Game and then after the before mentioned video were made public, pressure was finally turned on him... He did not feign contrition until three months ago, the incident was in 2014... This is from PFT As it relates to the existence of remorse, the most obvious question is when did Mixon first apologize to Molitor or her family? Here’s what Mixon said during a Monday visit to PFT Live. “It was actually about two years later,” Mixon said. “I’ve always wanted to apologize but from my legal team and a couple of people from the legal situation. . . . you know, in the Oklahoma program to media it wasn’t a right time for me, the right time for me to actually apologize. I pretty much told my legal team that if I could do anything for me to at least see her face-to-face you know where nobody is around I could at least apologize and ask her for my forgiveness but they didn’t allow me to do that. The first opportunity I got, you know, I’ve taken the initiative to ask for forgiveness and apologize to her and if I could’ve did it before I would’ve done that.” On first glance you could argue that he wants her to ask his forgiveness because that is what he said verbatim... Now, you can give Mixon the benefit that he's not the most polished speaker... But even still it is about "my forgiveness" in his words, not her forgiveness... I don't buy his act, not one bit. It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
