PFF: Michael Thomas is NFL's best deep threat - Cover32

Just a friendly tip, there are dozens of sites online that you could check before you post.

Will(Insert Team Name Here)81 and facts have always appeared to be mutually exclusive.

No, I knew what I was talking about. Thomas is not a Z, he is a X. he cannot run downfield 40+ yards in two secs like the way Cooks, and now Ginn, can. In fact I have not seen Thomas make those kinds of catches unless it was against SF and LA. I am also taking hail marys here not run after catch which is what Thomas does. Deep threat is someone who can catch a long pass, not someone who can catch and keep going. Thomas wasn't the one hauling in 98 and 80 yard TDs last year.

Still blaming Cooks for a game that the offense has had a history of losing and struggling against that particular defense is nothing but an excuse to hate someone IMO.

Check the actual stats, dude. Their YAC and YPC were very close. You try as hard as you can to try to act like you know what you are talking about. Adopt a new team. I have heard the Raiders are up and coming! Get you an early seat on that bandwagon. But a warning. They also have fans that know what they are talking about.

There's no such thing as an X and a Z in our offense.

There are multiple sets, multiple formations, and players have to know the entire route tree.

Exactly. Personal are interchangeable in our offence.

Maybe you should contact PFF and let them know they are wrong about Thomas. Somehow, they got the impression that he's a pretty good deep threat.

Edit: Please keep us informed on how that works out for ya.
