Should.

Both of them are fine prospects and I'd be fine with either one, but Adams may be the next Ed Reed only better.

Do you pass up what many consider a 10 year all-pro prospect just because of need?

Drafting for need is a huge mistake.

Sources have said that Charlton should go in the top half of the first round and has a shot at going in the top 10. He has an excellent skill set with athletic upside for the NFL. Numerous scouts have compared Charlton to Carlos Dunlap and think he could be that kind of edge defender.

Taco Charlton could be the next JJ Watt; only better... Hindsight is always 20/20

Or he could be the next Jarvis Jones, only worse.

Same could be said about Jamal Adams; Hindsight is always 20/20... No need to argue about it though, Adams won't be there at #11...

Probably true Mitch, but I'd think the consensus is that Adams has a much better chance of becoming a perennial All-Pro than either Taco or Barnett.

But I'd have no problem with any of those three at #11. I'd just prefer Adams even though its not a glaring need.

To me its similar to the freakish scenario of Jonathan Allen dropping to 11 (yeah I know, NFW).

Even though a stud 3-tech isn't a need for us in 2017, do you pass up what many think might be Warren Sapp talent just because you have some decent guys already on the roster?

Just food for thought. Those decisions are way above my pay grade.

We are not getting any LSU players. For that to happen Sandra Bullocks would have to make Blind Side II and his dream would have to be to play for the Saints.

What about Solomon Thomas at 11? I think he will be a perfect fit as well.
