Re: Richard Sherman....
Butler and Sherman?
|
Re: Richard Sherman....
Butler on one side and Sherman on the other............
|
Re: Richard Sherman....
They better be good as they would blow the cap to Timbuktu
|
Re: Richard Sherman....
I feel a lesser pick for Sherman is betetr than a higher for Butler.
|
Re: Richard Sherman....
What about a medium pick for both?
|
Re: Richard Sherman....
What about no pick for neither? I'd rather use my draft picks on youngsters... :bng:

Re: Richard Sherman....
Think I'll pass on this one  |

So, did anyone take the time to read past just this headline? Well, if you read the article you'd see that Mike Garafolo "reported" that it would take a first and a third to get Sherman. Nowhere in the entire article did it say the Seahawks were asking for anything. Then, if you follow the link to Garafolo's "report" you once again see no mention of any Seahawks demands. What you will find is our old friend Ian Fullacrap Rappport saying it would take a first rounder. Then Garafolo is quoted saying a first and a mid-rounder. These are nothing but opinions being thrown out there by media hacks. These guys are guessing about things with no basis in fact, yet the gullible readers (of headlines) take it to mean the Seahawks (or any other team) is publicly making demands of some sort. :dunce::doh::rolleyes: |

“Sherman has been asked to track some receivers this season, and overall, he has allowed a passer rating of only 59.1 when targeted, remaining the league’s toughest corner to complete a pass on, going 16.2 snaps in coverage for every reception he allows—the best mark in the league, and 1.4 snaps higher than the next-best figure.” - http://www.fieldgulls.com/2016/11/26...rbacks-ranking Go watch the film. Like...seriously. Y'all are way off on this one. The boards sees "potential" in P.J. Williams, Ken Crawley, and the rest of our injury prone secondary and begged to keep Sterling Moore...but disregards Richard Sherman and Malcolm Butler? Okay... |
Re: Richard Sherman....
Yeah but but he talks trash so we dont want him. Something like that

BTW, I don't think he's ever missed a NFL game in his career. Too bad we can't say that with our corners :argue:. We need more dawgs on defense. |

Apparently my ability to get an image to show did not return with me to this message board. That was supposed to be Kyle Turley throwing the helmet.

We started Webb and Moore at the end of the year and half the people here are torching Butler and Sherman, two top ten, if not top 5 CB's. We gave up 274 passing yards a game last year, 284 the year before that. We are not fixing that with just the draft |

Re: Richard Sherman....
Cam Jordan could only do so much on his own, Lord knows Kruger was so invisible we could have played with 10 players on D instead.
Cam Jordan consistently beats his man, but the QB can step up easily because we have no inside push and no DE opposite Cam. Now, re-signing Fairley and Rankins in his second season will go a long way to help that, but we still need a dominant DE opposite Cam. |

Good locker room guy? I dont know.. he seems like a loud mouth prima
donna jerk to me. I was thinking what an above poster said... This smells like Brandon Browner, who had good years in Seattle, before coming here and sucking. |

I haven't seen a corner who is better in run support than Richard Sherman. Excellent tackler.

Re: Richard Sherman....
Sherman brings some heart and smarts but also brings slow and cheat. NO. He is good but not some great CB and not worth anywhere near what is being discussed. We would be paying top dollar for someone that won't be covering top tier WR's. NO.

A true Legend in his own mind.................

Re: Richard Sherman....
We don't exactly do well with former aging Seahawks defensive backs...
Plus, I like the horses we have in the barn already, lets get the pass rush... |
