According to Bleacher Report, the Seahawks are looking for a 1st and a 3rd or a good player and a high draft pick.

Also from Bleacher Report, NFL executives do not think Seattle is seriously shopping him. These executives believe this is more a message to Sherman than serious trade talks.

people really do not study what the pats do in between getting rings.

Not me. For this year at least it's win now. We already have some good people in place on D that are young. Brees at Qb is our best chance at winning. After 2 years, or as soon as his play drops off then you sacrifice a season or two to build.

I think Seattle is looking at the butt load of CB's in this years draft and licking their lips like we should be. We're in great shape to draft a good young cb. and a S this season and there are plenty there. I would pass on Sherman simply because of the draft. I also hope we don't trade a pick for Butler. Ireland when in Miami drafted a fleet of rookie cb. and S in one draft and their secondary was good. I would't mind him doing that here. They grew together as a unit like they should.
