I don't doubt that Seattle is open to inquiries about all of their players, as should every franchise be at this time of the year. It is when these speculations about what pick or picks would be needed become taken as actual demands that I blame media hype.

As for Schneider's comment, of course he is going to play along, and most likely embellish. It gives the team more leverage in dealings with Sherman.
