Re: Pre Season Schedule
No matter what they say preseason is an indicator of how the season will go. If we go 0-4 it will be a long long year.
The preseason should give us time to see how our backups look in action as well as seeing what we have in Dennis Allen's second(2.5) season on the defensive side of the ball. I believe that we need four preseason games just to get the timing and scheme down even though we lose some players in preseason. Cross your fingers for good luck with the injuries from here on out. I like the off season moves, while still allowing for a Butler trade, and think we can draft well with the new scouting staff under Ireland. He did well last year and I think he'll bring us a good haul this year in the draft. The idea of five picks in the first three rounds gets me excited about the possibilities. We can even fill a couple of needs with possible starters from players selected later in the draft like RB or O-line. I will actually watch the draft this year rather than taping it and just watching our player picks. I hate Godhell!!! |

Re: Pre Season Schedule
We're not getting a quality olineman later in the draft and this FO does not draft them late anyways.

Re: Pre Season Schedule
I will say this, preseason or regular season we have been 7-9 the last 3 seasons, can we stop with the how so and so is a cake walk? We're not a good team until we are a good team. This isn't the 2011 Saints and we're not blowing anyone out like we did against Indy that year. Just stop with that crap already.
Houston is a good QB away from pushing for a SB |
