I guess it's not okay for fans to question a guys character when he makes stupid mistakes before something as important as the draft. How silly of me.

In practical terms, it is not really "a stupid mistake". The harsh reality of professional sports, everyone is on something. Not being on something puts any competing athlete at a disadvantage, "something" being steroids to make them stronger or heal faster, or substances so they can run a 40 with that mildly sprained ankle without feeling pain and slowing them down.

Especially with just a diluted sample. He's not the only big name in the draft that had that happen this year. The NFL can easily work around that and they'll find out the truth whether it's the truth or not!

The NFL has a deep history of players whose draft stock plummeted due to pre-draft issues. Even Marino had 5 or 6 qbs picked ahead of him because of partying rumors. How many teams regret not picking him or the likes of Sapp, Moss, J Winston and Mathieu just to name a few? Im not saying that Foster is innocent, but I think he will eventually straighhten out and turn into a pro bowl player for someone.

Just say no. If he doesn't have the common sense to stay clean KNOWING he's going to be tested at the combine, UNDERSTANDING that if he flunks it could cost him MILLIONS of dollars, he simply can't be counted on to make good choices in the future. He's not worth the headache and the possible waste of a high pick. The Saints need to hit on their picks.
