Foster would be ideal here if we didn't already have Mark Ingram. McCaffrey would be a better fit.

I started this thread and was reacting to hearing about his screwup. But. I just went back and saw he's his highlights and man this guy is a tackling cruise missile.

I guess it's not okay for fans to question a guys character when he makes stupid mistakes before something as important as the draft. How silly of me.

In practical terms, it is not really "a stupid mistake". The harsh reality of professional sports, everyone is on something. Not being on something puts any competing athlete at a disadvantage, "something" being steroids to make them stronger or heal faster, or substances so they can run a 40 with that mildly sprained ankle without feeling pain and slowing them down.

People say "how can they risk millions by taking stuff?"
Those who are in that position, think "how can I risk millions by NOT taking stuff?"

What you hear in the news about teams being wary or cautious of players who failed tests, it is mostly lip service for the media and the fans.
