Our next Hightower????

Re: Our next Hightower????
I just saw the headlines and thought the same thing. Fresh legs + maturity and work ethic. Could work out.

Re: Our next Hightower????
I thought the same thing! I bet his agent was like..."Hey...Tim Hightower was out of the league and didn't play for a couple years. He was successful when he got a shot, you can do it too!"

Re: Our next Hightower????
I'd bring him in and have a look.

Re: Our next Hightower????
So long as there is no big guarantee why not. But its not like he set the world alight in San Francisco
In his lone NFL season, Coffee rushed for 226 yards and a touchdown on 83 carries, and he also had 11 receptions for 78 yards. |
Re: Our next Hightower????
Believe the Saints already have their Comeback Player candidate identified with AP...
Can you imagine what Week 1 will be like if we sign AP and take him in-two to Minneapolis? Oh man, we'll dominate the sports news that week... |

One season. Kid decided to defend his country. He could of been at the least a solid reserve in the NFL. Fresh legs and a desire. Cheap camp body with the chance to play a roll in the fall. I like it. |
Re: Our next Hightower????
The problem with AP is that I think him and Ingram are to much alike.
I think what SP likes is diversity in styles in the backfield. A pounder, an every down back, A speedster, then a change up. AP and MI I feel are to much a like in some ways. |
Re: Our next Hightower????
I wouldn't say a 29 year old who's been an ARMY grunt for the past couple of years would have fresh legs. Not to mention, Hightower proved himself a capable contributor for years before the injuries. Coffee played one year averaging 2 yards a carry. Not the move.
