Comprehensive Mock Draft
I have a proposal..I think it will really be a way for us to accuratly predict who will go where, and when they will get picked..
Ok..we have a mock draft vote..it'll go something like this.. For instance..pick 1 SF..we go through..debate it for one full day..debate on who we think they will get..and at the end of the day..tally the votes..and see who we think will go.. And so on..till the 16th, or even further if you like.. We could collectivelly make a pretty awesome mock draft, if we took the time to do it right...and it may help shed some light on the direction the draft will take.. I would say, no trades, but, I think if we are all to be involved..it should be a collective decision..the trade scenario could go the same as the normal vote..if more people vote that the team would trade, we would assume they will trade, make the adjustments and move on to the next pick... What do you guys think?..It would certainly help us get a clearer picture of what the Draft will yield..and, I think it would be fun... If you guys want..lets do it... We could start a different thread on every particular pick..get the votes tallied..then post it on the ''master draft board''..so it would be more easily readable... I think we are smart and objective enough to make it accurate... If anyone wants to do it..just chime in..and please include any suggestions, or ideas you have to make it better... We can start tommorrow...March 25..all voting should be over for each pick at midnight...then the next pick could immediately follow..unless your Minesotta, it may take a while ;) ..hahaha.. Comprehensive Mock Draft
not a bad idea shadow except that i think many more issues than normal are up in the air concerning top ten picks. i had chicago as an iron clad peg for braylon edwards until they picked up moose. they still could go edwards but a top 3 rb is as much or more liely now. travis henry to arizona, ricky williams to miami, darren howard to minnesota, are some of the very major fluid situations. i am game for any general draft discussion but i thik the countdown sort of thing would be best served a week or two before the draft.

I agree about the uncertainty..thats why I felt like a general concensus vote would give us a more accurate prediction...
Any possible situation could be argued for one full day, scenarios would arise..and be considered...then voted on...including trades... We could even go as far as to include a clause stating that if more time will be needed to judge, we could extend the debate an extra day or whatever.... make some suggestions to help plan out the route to make it more effective.. ..The Draft is less than a month away... I think it would be cool.. |

what about just start with debate about 2 picks a day. san francisco and miami for a day, two separate threads. do that until getting through kansas city at #15. wait for voting the weekend before the draft, then do 1-16 all at once.
i say 1-15, cuz what most of us care about is how it will shake out when coming to the saints pick. if ya wanna go thru the trouble of the whole first round (32) ya might as well keep on until the saints #40. |

Comprehensive Mock Draft
Hold on..Let\'s go over the rules..if they seem wrong..just say something and we can change them up..
No votes counted after midnight...unless you have to work late, and didn\'t get a chance to vote... In the event of a tie...I don\'t know..so help me out there... I will start a fresh thread about each pick...and then have just one draft board thread to post the results... All votes will be public... |
