I'm reading alot of posts on here throwing around alot of names about who we should draft. Let's try to narrow it down to one guy who has a REAL chance of being there at #16.
What one player that we have a shot at would help us the most? Of course this is just based on all the info we know now about the prospects' work outs, team needs, etc. Just throw one name out there and why we need him more than the other guys, in your opinion of course. Also, this survey or poll or whatever you wanna call it is based on the assumption that we don't: move up or down from 16, aquire another first rounder, aquire a player at a need posistion before the draft, etc. Basically, as of right now who do we need the most? Let your voice be heard so we know what everyone is thinking. My guy is Thomas Davis. I Just like the idea of finally having a real player at WLB or a more athletic SS. Travis Johnson. DT is a big need. He looks like the best one in the draft. This is assuming Barron and Jamal Brown are gone

Nice one D-buck but do those supposed character issues scare you a little? Or the fact that he didn\'t do hardly anything until his last year at FSU? Those are my only concerns with him, but other than that I think he would be a solid choice for us at 16.

Ok since nobody seems to have the marbles to put one name out there, answer me this. Alot of people are whining about how we are soooo close to D.Johnson and about how it\'s just our luck to be soooo close to a great player that would fill a need. :weepy:
IMO I don\'t think he\'ll end up being that close to #16. I don\'t see many teams passing on this guy with him staring them right in the face. He might not make it past Romeo and the Browns. I say he goes no later than #8. [Edited on 25/3/2005 by bignic26] |

Yeah, they scare me. If those issues weren\'t there though he\'d be top 5. I hope Derrick Johnson falls even to Detriot at 10, then we could maybe have a shot. I think he will go 6th, Titans trade down and someone will move up for him. San Diego?
