And trading Ingram for a temporary replacement center?! Our running game already takes a hit without Unger so why make it worse getting rid of our best RB?
$$$$ - guarantee the money and Nick will show...

...like I said earlier, this is Philly beat writer making hay...

I wouldn't be too sure about it just being speculation. Philly needs a RB in the worst way and I heard from other places before now that the Saints tried to trade Ingram earlier this spring with no success because the draft was deep at running back. With Philly not adequately addressing that position on draft day, I can see them as trade partners.

Come on guys, there is obviously a pattern here. Saints trade up to draft a RB who is better than Ingram in every way and also sign Adrian Peterson. Doesn't this look reminiscent of when they drafted Ingram when Bush was on the roster. Also, look at the fact that every malcontent has been cut or traded away. Galette, Lofton, Graham, Cooks, Lewis etc. It's clear Payton doesn't like insubordination or being challenged by his players. Anybody remember the many outbursts Ingram has had on the sidelines and I think the last one against the Cardinals was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Trust me when I say this....they're definitely trying to rid themselves of Ingram. Anybody with a me personality is being weeded out. Besides, it took Ingram like 5 years to finally get 1000 yds. People can say it's because he didn't get enough carries but I think the fact that he couldn't stay healthy is the reason he didn't get the lion's share of the carries. If Peterson is anywhere near his old self, Ingram is on the way out either this season or the next. There's no need for two workhorses and the pass catching role will be taken over by Kamara. Eventually, Kamara will take over full-time as the 3 down back.

There is very much wrong with this post.

Philly couldn't sign AP? They couldn't have take Kamara before us? They didn't want Mixon, Lacy, Murray, Woodhead, Blount?

1. They were talking with Jamaal Charles.
2. Our draft spot was ahead of Philly so they would have to jump us. Also, maybe they didn't like Kamara as much as we did or think he was a fit for them.
3. Mixon was drafted by the Bengals who also was positioned ahead of philly and nobody was touching him in the first round. Lacy signed with Seattle. Woodhead signed with Baltimore. Murray signed with Minnesota. Blount doesn't fit Philly's scheme because they need a zone runner.

I don't get what you are getting at with these questions. You act as if Philly had first dibs on every running back available.

It makes sense to trade Ingram for Kelce and the 4th rd draft pick the Eagles got for Eric Rowe that could possibly become a 3rd rounder. I don't think it happens right away because I think they want to see how Peterson looks first. I think replacing our center is more important than Ingram. Without a good line, we won't be able to run anyway.

If they are as desperate as you say, then yes, they had "dibs" (aka cap space, draft picks) to get any of a number of backs. Or are you really insinuating that the Eagles were waiting around for an injury opportunity so they could make a trade?

C'mon Will's brother, reveal yourself

I don't make speculation like this. I was right on the AP rumors but I know nothing about this.
