BOLD PREDICTION
The Browns will trade with us for Howard...But it won\'t be here..they will trade for a second round pick, and we will exchange 4th round picks...enabling the Browns to get.. LB Derrick Johnson from Texas... The Cowboys made a fatal mistake..many teams thought we would want a 1st rounder, and were wary about trading..the Boys got us down to a 2nd and a player, then. just a 2nd..and still didn\'t sign..it will turn heads..and the Browns will make the move... Howard and Johnson instantlty make that D a whole lot better, the Patriots built thier D from the Line on back, and Crennel will follow suit...Howard will give them an instant pass rush, and Johnson is as versatile an athelete as any rookie LB in recent memory.. You just can\'t pass on Johnson here..He is one of those kind of guys who come along maybe once every 4-6 years...and Crennel looks like a genius before the first game is even played... Q: And who will play QB for the Browns?!? (A: A real Super Bowl winning QB - Trent Dilfer)
Q: Couldn\'t you pick up Johnson later in the draft? (A: Maybe, but once again you\'d need a team with which to trade plus Johnson will go in the Top 5 or Top 6) The folks in Cleveland are fed up with high first round busts and Crennel makes the safe pick: Derrick Johnson, LB, Texas |

In a suprising move they trade down to minnesota..to grab-Alex Baron...the OT they have craved...they also end up with a decent RB.
the other way they go is benson-they need a running game as their passing game will be adequate with el superstar actully getting to play this year. |

TRADE:
Tampa Bay moves up two notches and selects Cedric Benson RB. The Bucs fear the top 3 rb\'s will go 1-2-3 right in front of them. They select Benson over Cadillac no matter how much Gruden loves Cadillac hype has been handed out. Tampa trades #36 (2nd Rd) for Cleveland\'s #103 (4th Rd) Browns have so many needs they can still get a player they want like Derrick Johnson, Rolle, or QB in 2 picks. They get an additional 2nd to do so. Don\'t discount this acquired pick being traded as well to get more picks. This could easily become a historic trade-down draft. |
