Can you imagine what it would look like if Brees got hurt? Or if Cam Jordan got hurt?

Nope! Not gonna do that. Who gets dumped to add yet another WR? And imagine our depth chart if we then lose our starter in that position... Or another team releases a kinda good veteran LB, then another team releases a veteran kinda good defensive lineman, then another team releases a veteran kinda good....

I'd like to have him. Probably can't afford him. He'd be wonderful in this offense. I think he goes to the Evil Empire in New England.

Not enough reps to go around for a guy like him to even consider coming here. If we hadn t signed Ginn I could see us pursuing him, at this point it's too late though.

Ginn just has to sit back and accept his role if Maclin wants to be in the Big Easy.

With MT out 1-1 last year. The run game likely has to take over. Nobody is going to fill that void very good right now. Still a ways to go though. Someone else emerging would not be the first time and one of our strengths.

i am still on the Corey Fuller band wagon.

Former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lance Moore made the first call on Fuller as a player to watch in 2017.

“I guess everyone is looking for someone to emerge in the summer workouts and training camp and I think very highly of Corey Fuller,” Moore said. “I was with the Lions in 2015 and Corey was an impressive player there. He came into the league as a speed receiver, but he has worked hard at his game by getting stronger, becoming a more precise route runner, he is a terrific downfield blocker and he will play special teams. Corey is a great athlete and aggressive going after the ball in heavy traffic. He learned a lot of that by working with Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson earlier in his career. He has strong hands and he can really turn it up after the catch.

With that said You have all the dead money from KC to work with $2 mill 2017 and $4 mil 2018. He averaged $11 million a year and
The Saints have the cap space ($12 million) to get a deal done.

Replacement players for those two are not available right now. A player who would immediately be #3 on the depth chart is. That's the point.

and yes, we should always try to add better players
is that really a question?
