And that coach is no longer even with the franchise.

Whether you're a fan of Fairley being signed long-term or not, am sure all hope for the best in his long-term health...

But this does seem to be another in a long line of questionable "missed" diagnosed evaluations that should have happened sooner...

In the case of Fairley, it should've happened prior to a long-term contract where it's starting to look as if Loomis has bid against himself and over-paid prematurely for a player...

I have a real time accepting that this condition only manifested in less than his being signed less than ninety (90) days (days) ago...

Gotta believe this is an extension of having an owner who's having his diapers changed and being virtually cuckold by his golddigger...

This is when we could use a slightly younger more active owner should say "Okay, Mickey, Sean, WTF?!? Why haven't we fired these Docs and secured a more reliable source of medical opinion than these quacks at Ochsner?!? WTH is going on that we keep getting straddled with poor medical opinion and making these decisions?"

Not that I don't have empathy for Fairley, I do. But I'm also a Saints fan who's invested and am getting tired of this recurring bad decision with bad information "process" by Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis...

They knew about it... So did Detroit when they drafted him. He's been playing with it all along. Either this is a click bait article or his situation has worsened. If the latter, then yes, JP, the docs are wholeheartedly culpable.

It's pretty rare Jen Hale gets to break a story like this so she probably went way overboard with the "life threatening" severity of it.

I have a feeling you are correct. Apparently the condition was common knowledge.

Still Asylum.... Certain stuff like this is important to know.

Read three articles on this, and there is nothing substantial in any of them. Fairley isn't at OTA's likely because of the heart, but no one is saying anything.
As for the clickbait headline, is a heart condition career threatening? Ah, yeah...it's actually life threatening
the questions:
can he play in his current condition?
has something changed drastically in the last few days?
and, why hasn't the team issued a statement?

well it is not click bait the dude hasn't been at OTA's and the players can't get a hold of him. I'd say something is wrong. Hopefully they get it resolved now and he is healthy for camp/season
