I got a few sleepers here......
Adrian McPherson, QB: This kat didnt play too long at FSU, but has been playing in the Arena Football League. Good athlete, pretty fast QB. TD to interception ratio was insane, 61 TD's to 5 int's. A straight athlete that can come in and scare Brooks. Brooks wasnt smart when he took Blake's job a couple years back, just a good athlete. Maybe this would push Brooks to the next level and make him step up
Travis Daniels, CB: This guy played across from Webster @ LSU so he never gets any love. We had the debate earlier on #1 and #2 corners and the difference. I've seen him play and he is a strong sleeper. Needs to add some bulk, but he played safety and CB so he knows the secondary well. Smart player, rarely out of position. He would be a goooood late round player. Odell Thurman, LB, just cause the guys from Georgia we will draft him........... |

mcpherson may be a good project like matt jones. 3rd round i guess
i too think daniels will be an excellent 4-5th rd pick for someone i dont think there is any sleeping about thurman. a solid 2nd rounder. could be gone already by saints #40. |

I think it\'ll be thurman or travis johnson early(i\'m not thrilled with either..buti\'m also not in the saints FO)...but I really don\'t think that McPherson is a guy that we should pick up at all....Major character questions..in a town that brings out the worst in folks...not a good mix. I think also whereas brooks isn\'t dumb-just not football saavy...this kid is dumb-as in the little bus....
as for daniels..he is an interesting pick. Like thurman, pollock and davis-I\'m kinda scared/wonder about the boys from defenses that have other star players on them..was daniels better because of webster or vice versa..can he stand alone? [Edited on 29/3/2005 by baronm] |

It could happen...then again we could take greene, pollock or davis...all georgia boys...and at 16 pollack could be the best player available.

I like Adrian as a potential backup for AB, we would have to take him in the third though, also like Thurman. I am a big LSU fan, but not a Daniels fan....in the 5th rd though he would be worth a shot
