Great story. Funny, because about a year or so ago, I met Andre in downtown NOLA. It was around the time CJ Spiller was with us (Saints), and struggling to overcome injury and get back on the field.

I don't usually approach athletes or actors, but I grew up in the 70s and 80s, and I was a big fan of his. So I politely approached him, congratulated him on making the HOF & asked him something about his thoughts on Spiller (seeing the Buffalo ties, obviously).

Well, it didn't go well to say the least. Guy was the biggest jerk, and made me feel like I was a homeless person asking for money (I think I even posted here about my negative experience).

Everyone has an off day, but the guy was just a total ASSHAT. Glad your experience was better than mine!!
