I don't think there was any hint implied. He simply thanked AP for a gift. I think some are trying their hardest to make something out of absolutely nothing. These aren't 13-year-old school girls. They are professional football players. Grown men. They wouldn't play those petty little games. Talk about tearing up the chemistry of a locker room. Kuhn has always been a consummate professional. That would be below him.

I only own five pairs of shoes in total and one of those are just for mowing the lawn. Although, I do have my late father's pair of Tony Lama boots that fit me like a glove. Never understood people that spend hundreds on a pair of Nike shoes that aren't even good for your feet.
