Re: Nick Fairley Placed on NFI
By doing it this way, the cap hit for what will be his retirement will be spread out over a couple of years...
Somebody needs to explain why this known ailment wasn't explored more thoroughly before signing him... Local Sports Show Host Eric Asher has really been pressing the question if it's not time to move on from Ochsner Sports Health... |

Re: Nick Fairley Placed on NFI
NEVER pay journeymen more than a year. If you get a good year consider yourself lucky and move on. I wish the guy the best but this is killing us. We keep getting burned by the same scenario year after year. It's beyond stupid.
Especially on the defensive side. They almost NEVER work out. |

Re: Nick Fairley Placed on NFI
Lmao! Dude back away from the cliff. Look I'm pissed about this too, but I don't think this justifies firing Sean Payton. I'm confident they didn't sign Fairley and think this was going to be an issue. Lol. Why don't you wait until after this season to determine if Payton needs the ax.

Re: Nick Fairley Placed on NFI
I voted to let him walk as a FA. Not that I dislike him but would liked to have a better player able to be more effective while at nose. I hope he has a good life outside of football.
