Re: Nick Fairley Placed on NFI
I hope he gets this resolved and returns to the Saints to finish out his contract.

Re: Nick Fairley Placed on NFI
Highly improbable? Based upon what? Every new contract is preceded by a physical exam. What was found at OTA's in an exam three months later would have been found during the exam in March if it was present.

Health first, good decision by all. I hope there is a procedure that can help him live a long, healthy life with less worry. No reason to risk it. My football fan brain does lament not having both he and Junior (with his head on straight) out there with Rankins and Jordan.

Shrimp you can't really pay any attention to people posting on here and criticizing you. Those same people said we were weaker without NF and now since he will not play they say that we are no better or worse without him. If those seem like conflicting ideas that is because they are.

Re: Nick Fairley Placed on NFI
Don't know the contract. Haven't heard from front office about it. Here's a supposition. IF they did not have a clause concerning his condition and playing they BLEW it. If they did have a clause..It was a head's up contract. One thing for sure - going forward they will have a clause for all such contingencies.

Re: Nick Fairley Placed on NFI
I think they signed him to take care of him knowing his condition was not good. His condition is progressive from my understanding. Improbable it went from fine to horrible that fast.
