There is no guarantee going anywhere else would give him any better shot at winning it all. 7-9 may technically be a losing record, but it is only a few plays away from being 10-6 and having a shot at the title. Brees knows the team is moving in the right direction. He isn't an idiot. His BEST chance at another Lombardi is in New Orleans.
