I was just reading on...I think Twitter, but might be somewhere else that they were saying if Ram can just give us what Bushrod fave us things will go well. I couldn't agree more. He doesn't have to be a probowler for us to be really good. I like hearing this. I don't what he will become but I really like the pick in going after a top tier olineman in round 1. Well, right now we're sucking on Sno-balls vs cool aid as it's Africa-hot right now in South Louisiana...

We've not seen this kinda heat in a couple of years...

We're definitely grabbing a guard in next offseason...

Somewhat. Payton has traditionally kept at least on the roster three (3) tackles with two (2) starters; same with the guards, 3 & 2; a starting center; and then we usually have another lineman keeping us between 7-8 during our better seasons under Coach P...

Off subject but has it been? Somehow this summer hasn't seemed as hot as I remember others. My job puts me in 130-40 degree heat so maybe I haven't noticed.

This past week I have had several people remark this feels the hottest it's been in a while...

We've actually been Blessed with beautiful weather the past couple years and I think people are just having trouble acclimating, I know I am...

But it's been a nice break after those maelstrong seasons of back-to-back hurricane seasons...

Bushrod was never a solid player.jmho Ram is a first rounder who should play liked the best in his class year in and year out.

Bushrod was very serviceable for us. I don't think the comment was meant to hope for mediocrity out of Ram. I think the point was that as a Rook if we can get at least that it will be good enough. Clearly the sky would be the limit after that. Have heard good things thus far so let's hope it continues and we have a superstar.
