So interesting theory I have

If the NFL tabs his BFF to do the sb halftime show, I can see Payton signing Manziel.

And if the NFL is green, and the Saints are round, I can see CBS airing a Seinfeld marathon to appease alligators in Canada.

Re: So interesting theory I have

There is a connection there. BFF and Manziel have history. In fact BFF and Manziel were supposed to team up and launch an image campaign. Payton was at that conference. Word is they both make appearance. I do smell collusion though. The only thing that throws a wrinkle in the whole mess is the cheating "bisexual" girlfriend. What do you think about the NWA possibility instead. Don't know if that's covered in players and coaches insurance plans or if NFL is responsible.

Dude....what the hell are you talking about? I'm not kidding. I've tried to figure out what you're talking about and it literally makes no sense. Who the **** is BFF (I'm assuming you're talking about the term "best friend forever?"). And what the hell are you talking about with the NWA? Are you talking about the rap group that's been disbanded for decades? And what the hell does either of them have to do with the NFL?

Up to this point I always tried to think that you had good intentions and that you probably were just trying to be cool and pretend to know about stuff when you were actually clueless. I've now made up my mind that you post things on this board for negative attention. There's no other logical explanation.

All I want at halftime of the Super Bowl is Axl, Slash and Welcome to the Jungle. That's not that hard of a request now

And WilSaint, what the **** are you talking about?

Dammit Guido! Here I was all reading the replies without having to actually read the ridiculous Xanax with a Zima chaser induced WTF drivel and laughing my ass off. Then you had to go and spoil it all by ghost posting it. Sheesh!

I am fairly certain he is being sarcastic. Kinda like what I did with my post.

I can not believe Van Halen hasn't done halftime. That's like keeping Mort out of the HOF. It makes no sense. Let Ed rock halftime already...

I'll try...

If the NFL hires Kenny Chesney to perform in the Super Bowl halftime show, Sean Payton will reciprocate by hiring Johnny Manziel to a contract to back up Brees with a good faith opportunity to replace him when Brees retires, as discussed at the private meeting between Payton and Manziel during the owners meetings several months ago.

How'd I do?

Utah, are you some sort of FBI profiler or a British Code Breaker???

Do you have a high-fiber diet with lots of coffee and spend oodles of time at coffee houses with conspiracy theorists???

You're gonna have to explain how you Sherlocked this outta yer arse...

So how would Kenny Chesney doing the half time show, in any way at all give Payton an idea to sign Manziel?

So let's see here, Goodell comes to Sean Payton asking him if he'll pretty please ask his good buddy, Kenny Chesney, to become the Super Bowl headliner prior to the Owner's Meeting in March 2017. In return, Payton agrees to sign a no talent QB that has been out of the league for years to a contract thus taking up a roster spot on either the active roster or the practice squad. Of course, all of this was hammered out in a brief public breakfast meeting with Manziel.

Have I got it straight?

I'm sorry, Kenny Chesney isn't BFF. It's Elvis. I'm pretty shocked y'all needed my help to figure that out. Annnnd, Johnny Manziel is actually a code name for JaMarcus Russell. Now that all that's cleared up y'all can head over to some meaningful (for off-season standards) thread.

So, Sean has to do a favor and then get penalized for it??? Makes sense to me.

Nah, I just got a lotta crazy people in my family so I've had some experience with nut-job to English translation.

Yeah, I think that's what he's trying to say.

Or, it could be some kind of reference to when the mother ship is coming to get him and Johnny Football.
