Re: New Orleans Saints Training Camp Day 10 Highlights at Yulman Stadium
Darn it. I think the Saints are loaded. I think the line will easily be the best its been in years. The WRs are solid and if either Dural, Coleman, Tommylee Lewis or Fuller can contribute, it could easily become an elite group. I think Dural can easily fill the Devery Henderson, Robert Meachem role and has the physical tools to be the best WR on the team though hes surely raw now. He and Michael Thomas could become the best duo in the league. Coleman used to look just like Colston with the same stride and all but hes beefed up. Looks more like TO now. Tommylee Lewis could become an elite slot WR. I predict Snead gets beat out before the playoffs. The Saints have the best RBs in the NFL. Ingram and Peterson are studs. Kmara will fit perfectly in this system playing the Bush, Sproles role and I cant wait to see what Peyton dreams up for that guy. Lasco is tough and talented and Darius Victor looks to be the next Mike Bell, Chris Ivory, Khiry Robinson type thumper only with better balance and vision. Victor is my favorite camp Saint this year. I see some of Dalton Hilliard in Vito. There are three or more promising DEs to fill the spot across from Cam Jordan. There are several capable LBs now on the roster and this is by far the deepest the secondary has been maybe ever in New Orleans. Devontae Harris reminds me a little of Toi Cook, a tall, lean, confident, fluid, high IQ, agressive athlete with average speed but solid hands, ball skills and tackling. Swann, PJ Williams and Sterling Moore are scrappy agressive players. Ken Crawley can really run and cover and has great ball skills and Maulet looks good too. Lattimore was unquestioned best cover corner in the draft this year and Breaux is seriously legit. If Delvin Breaux and Marshon Lattimore stay healthy all year, we definetely going to the bowl. WHO DAT!
