In all honesty this announcement is probably more of a smack in the face that we are going to cut you if you do not get on the field. I don't think he has any value in a trade, but worth a try. But I think for it to come out this quickly means they are sending a message to him that they are going to cut him if he doesn't do/show somethinjg

Not gonna happen due to the size of his contract, but I will tell you what, if we can get someone to take that contract off our hands and ram can get er done, let's do it

You can't keep x-raying the leg when the issue is with his vagina

Can't trade him now anyway if there's some type of stress fracture going on in that leg. He'll likely start the season on the PUP.

Yeah, if he really has a fracture, he wouldn't pass the medical involved with a trade. So, probably it's just a way to try and shake him up.

I think it is more a message that if you stay on the sidelines, we don't need you. If the guy is sincerely hurt and I could only imagine if it is a bone bruise/stress fracture, playing can definitely make it worse. I don't see what we can get for him that has any real value.

replying to the other guy saying well if that is the case we should get rid of armistead as well. Difference being the massive contract armistead has

No. He isn't eligible for PUP. If you have partaken in any camp practice you are not eligible for regular PUP. You must be placed on IR and can be designated to return as one of two players under that designation.

Just try to keep up with as much real info as possible.

I know that if you continue to play and continue to take impacts on a stress fracture, the hairline crack will eventually go all the way across the tibia, kinda like a cracked windshield.

End result: an ugly and seemingly "freak" leg break.

Just my two.

and getting penalty after penalty that cost us change of possesion or even the games.

Eagles need a CB, they were trying to move C Jason Kelce, 29 yo...

But Unger should be back PreSeason Week 3...

Think the Chargers would trade Bosa? ;)

Breaux or Butler

Breaux a restricted free agent after this season. Butler a unrestricted free agent. Breaux proven he cover Julio. Butler, N.E didn't trust the match up in super bowl and schemed around it. If the saints decide to trade, it better not be for Butler.

Guys like Butler always worry me because of the fact that you just don't know how much of that is the system or (something underrated) the guys around them. The Eagles paid heavy for a CB from Seattle a few years back. Was supposed to be the next great thing and it didn't work out. If Butler was as good as advertised why wouldn't the Pats pay him and instead head to Buffalo to pay someone else...

But our rush will go a long way toward helping whoever is back there.

Yet another out of nowhere trade. You want less injured players? Well how about using that cap money to snag something big in FA instead of paying for "complimentary pieces." Byrd was a big signing, but Browner really was not that highly sought after and both those players had warning signs. The saints just didn't have good enough pro scouts and take it out on their luck with big signings over swinging for the fences.

Think they'll keep him on the block now that they really know what's wrong and maybe'll have some competent medical practitioners finally on the staff?

I don't think so. He's got almost no trade value now. I think they'll keep him and let competent doctors treat him and hope he'll return to his 2015 form in 6 weeks.

The way Delvin Breaux was treated, he would be justified by demanding a trade once he is healthy again. The misdiagnosis is just one issue, the bigger issue to me is the treatment he received from the organization as a whole, specifically Sean Payton.

Fans tend to rush to judgment without waiting for the full story. At least in today's society. Back when media was required to have two verifiable sources before publishing anything the story was more than likely matured to the point where it was mostly complete before ever reaching the public's ears and eyes.

In today's blogosphere conjecture quickly becomes perceived fact. The rush to diagnose Breaux's injury before it could honestly be ascertained led to the Saints' management into unduly chastising the player and the impatient public joined right in. Word is that some were even labeling the poor young man as a part of a woman's reproductive system.

In a way I guess Coach and the FO did to. They hired doctors that was supposedly competent and then you tend to believe what they say until they are proven wrong. Repeatedly.
