this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Armistead's injuries has been his main problem lately. The guy was a straight up stud before that. Strief is not getting any younger so unless we can replace Armistead with someone good I think we keep both and one moves ...

Armistead's injuries has been his main problem lately. The guy was a straight up stud before that. Strief is not getting any younger so unless we can replace Armistead with someone good I think we keep both and one moves to right tackle. Now we are pretty set at tackle.
This season Armistead is expected to be out for nearly the entire season, isn't he?In that case we should not replace Ram because I think you have close to a full season of these guys playing together. |

I read yesterday that he is ahead of schedule. A labrum repair is not that difficult to return from since it doesn't have anything to do with supportive tissues. Given when he had the surgery he could be ready during the first quarter of the season, but he probably goes on the PUP and returns after game six.
