..not stupidly mortgaging your house on a bet that the Saints win a Superbowl. That definition would only be used by someone to try and make a ridiculous point. Webster's defines "Faith" as "unquestioning belief that does not require proof or evidence." This pretty much sums up how most fans feel about the Saints, they love the guys in gold and black, not because they're always winners but because they have faith, mostly blind, that this team will one day make the "Big Dance". When one becomes a Saints fan it is because of blind faith, because anything that is done with personnel changes, coaching changes, play-calling is all out of the fans hands therefore we follow in blind faith of someday winning the Superbowl. Hope helps but it is not a requirement. Blind Faith is definitely a requirement.
