this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Hell yes. I get that it's only preseason, but you can't tell me some of what is going on in preseason isn't going to translate into the season itself. This defense is much better than what we've had the last ...

Hell yes. I get that it's only preseason, but you can't tell me some of what is going on in preseason isn't going to translate into the season itself.
This defense is much better than what we've had the last few years. I'm optimistic as hell. I think our LBs are better, our defensive line looks better, the DBs look better. No matter what, a defense is never good if it doesn't have an identity. And I think these guys are gelling and starting to find that identity. I haven't seen that in a long time. |
