Week 2 Pats will test the Saint's Seconad Level

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Hate to say this but I think Bradford is good for 300 and Brady for about 350. That secondary is going to get picked clean for a while. If injuries can be avoided, they should improve as the season progresses....

Can you explain what you are basing your opinion on? The pressure, sacks, and pass break ups shown in the preseason belie that.

Dennis Allen has the right idea: You can't complete a pass when you are on your back.

I hope he doesn't but if he does, it won't necessarily be a bad thing. Bradford only broke 300 twice last season and lost both games.

We've all been screaming for a defense with speed and attitude and I believe the pieces are finally all in place. I don't think we'll see nearly as many yards given up after the catch and there are enough veteran players with the experience in the system in the secondary to help minimize blown coverages. I'm sure they will take a few lumps here and there early on, but I expect them to progress quickly. There's more "on paper" talent on this defense than there has been in well over a decade.

The Saints will need to effectively apply pressure on Bradford. If he has time, he is capable of slicing you up. You know who had the highest completion percentage in football last year? Sam was @ 71.5 %. Brees and Matty were at 70%.

Pressure, rushes, sacks ... our defense must make Sam uncomfortable. Don't allow him to stand back there and go through his progressions.

Can't wait.
