Former Dallas LS?

He was progressing nicely.

But as B&G mentioned... if your worried about a LS wrecking your season, you got way more issues than a LS.

Underhill mentions that Wood will replace LS Jon Dorenbos, who requires open heart surgery due to an aortic aneurysm.

Wood, 24, went undrafted out of SMU back in May of last year before signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cowboys. However, Dallas decided to waive him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit. and then signed him to a one-year futures deal back in January.

The Cowboys later re-signed him to a one-year futures deal back in January but was waived once again as the team worked down their roster.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

So thankful they found it. These things go unnoticed all the time. I once found >7cm abdominal aortic aneurysm during a routine echocardiogram on a guy who had like 6 previous ultrasounds over the years...they all missed it.

Needless to say, he went IMMEDIATELY to the cath lab for a stent.

...SUCKS for us though
