Re: Saints at Vikings MNF Gameday Thread
If Payton doesn't start winning, this locker room is going to get sour real quick.

Re: Saints at Vikings MNF Gameday Thread
The game has passed Payton by. We don't understand the current meta of the NFL - be fairly simple but very versatile. Lots of play action with quick passing to negate the linebackers and the defensive speed in the NFL. The Lions, Falcons and now the Vikings seem to implement this pretty well, among other teams.
Our playbook is voluminous and we are trying to win by constantly rotating offensive personnel. And then on defense where a personnel rotation/benching is needed most (Devante), we do nothing. We are bringing a swiss army knife to a gunfight, and it seems more and more likely Payton will go down with said swiss army knife. |

Payton also made very poor decisions in the red zone, whether it was running the ball too frequently or kicking a field goal late in the third quarter when a touchdown was needed. Payton was once known as one of the top coaches in the NFL, but it's fair to wonder if, as with Jeff Fisher, the game has passed him by. |

What does "padded yards" have to do with anything in the loss
